The Core
CrossPoint's Life Group for youth, was formed with the goals of strengthening our youth's faith, establishing their unity with the church, and creating an atmosphere of discipleship. The definition of core is the central or innermost part, the essence. We understand that there is an irreducible core to our faith: love God, love others, and make disciples as we go. Our youth thought the name "Core" summed up the mission for their group and we agreed.
The philosophy behind much of what we do is based on Christ's commands in Matthew 22 to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and to "love your neighbor as yourself. "
The Core meets on Sunday at 10:30 am each Sunday. Primarily a discussion and activity group, leaders challenge the youth to explore their faith and relationships with people in their daily lives. Friends from outside CrossPoint are always welcome.
Outside of the group, our youth participate in activities within the community such as Hooksett Old Home Day, park outreach, and a Christmas craft fair to raise funds for a local family. Contact - Pastor Kevin 521-2311 and refer to the calendar on the homepage for upcoming Core events.
