Mission Trips

CrossPoint's Mission and Outreach Ministry is designed to promote relationships with the members of the local community, as well as with people throughout the nations. It is through compassionate service that people come to know the message of the God's love.

CrossPoint supports short-term mission trips (10 to 14 day trips) throughout the world. The body of CrossPoint includes members from all over the world and we are called to reach out to all members locally and globally. The short-term mission trips provide opportunities to serve people from all walks of life and develop long-term relationships with families in need of love and compassion. Our mission trips have included feeding the homeless in New York City and New Jersey, caring for the widows and orphans in Rwanda, and spreading the Gospel in the parks of Quebec - supporting the minority of Christians in their struggle for religious expression.

Examples of short term mission trips are two week trips focusing on serving people with substance abuse issues in Russia, and survivors of the genocide in Rwanda. It is said that when you set out to touch someone else's life, your own life is touched just as deeply, if not more. The experience of witnessing salvations and miracles strengthens one's faith and desire to reach out further.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress. . . " James 1:27
