Local Outreach

CrossPoint's Mission and Outreach Ministry is designed to promote relationships with the members of the local community, as well as with people throughout the nations. It is through compassionate service that people come to know the message of the God's love.

Our local outreaches include a monthly worship and communion service at Myrtle Manor, an assisted living facility. Members of CrossPoint spend time ministering and visiting with the elderly residents of the Manor. Additionally, transportation is provided to and from our weekly Sunday service for any residents who desire to attend.

CrossPointers also participate in winter and summer outreaches. During the summer a team of church members participates in bi-weekly park outreaches rotated among three different parks in the Greater Manchester area (Donati, Derryfield, and Livingston Parks). The children share about Jesus with their peers, while providing fun activities such as face painting, crafts, and sharing snacks. In the winter time, the Outreach team provides hot chocolate at local sledding areas (Derryfield, Donati, Granite Hill); this is a great time for families to develop relationships within the community.

Finally, CrossPointers participate in the annual Hooksett Old Home Day. During this event, the children from CrossPoint perform a dance that carries a message of hope to the community. Additionally, CrossPoint hosts a booth with information about the church, as well as give-a-ways to promote awareness of the church's desire to reach out to the people in the Hooksett area.
