Couples and Families
At CrossPoint, we recognize that families can be quite different and we welcome that. We exist to share the love of Jesus with everyone. We consider ourselves a family; backgrounds and family make-up don't
matter. Whether yours is a single-parent family, a step-family, a nuclear family, or perhaps a couple, you will find some of each at CrossPoint. Here, all are welcomed and loved as God's children exclusive of family design.
The term "family" has many meanings in modern culture. Did you know that In America today the most common family unit is the step-family? Add to that the fact that in New Hampshire one in four children lives in a single parent home. Even in nuclear family units, the cultural influence of such diverse family make-ups can create some challenging dynamics.
We share our worship and our lives together. Children are not only welcome in our worship celebration; they are actually encouraged to participate. On Sundays and in our Life Groups, look closely and you will notice young people enjoying responsibilites right alongside adults. In the summer, families have a great time as we gather bi-wekly at local parks to enjoy fellowship and connect with others in our communities. In the winter months, we offer a sledding fellowship and hot chocolate outreach to the community.
Children receive the best in quality and fun biblical training in our children's ministries. Tweens and teens have the opprotunity to enjoy faith and fun at our "Water Walkers" youth group.
Single parents: We understand how difficult life can be as a single parent. At CrossPoint you will dicover others who have or are facing the same challenges. Most of all, we believe you will discover that Jesus loves you and knows all that you face each day. You will also find people who will love you for who you are as God's child. We invite you to check us out and connect with others who can help you on your journey.
Step-Families: Are you trying hard to make your step-family work? Have you ever stopped to realize that Jesus was actually a part of a step-family? At CrossPoint we have some special tools to help you navigate the unique challenges of step-family life. Our "Successful Step-Families" program has helped several CrossPoint families experience new hope in the step-family experience. Most importantly, you can discover how much Jesus wants to love, understand and support you in the challenges you are facing.
Couples: At CrossPoint we enjoy watching God knit the hearts of a man and a woman together. We are committed to helping you in the process of growing together. Our "Marriage Is Beautiful" ministry will help you discover and deepen your commitment to each other and to God. Equally exciting; you will have the opportunity to discover God's wonderful and mutual purpose for which He has called you together.
